FLIGHTS
Guests can fly into one of two airports in Paris - Charles de Gaulle (CDG) or Paris Orly (ORY). From Paris, guests can take a train to Limoges or Bordeaux, and rent a car at either of these train stations. Note that OuiGo trains to Bordeaux leave directly from CDG, so guests taking the train from CDG to Bordeaux would not have to leave the airport (more info on OuiGo trains below).
Guests can also fly into Limoges (LIG), a one hour drive from Chateau la Durantie, located at 87100 Limoges, or Bordeaux (BOD), a two hour drive rom Chateau la Durantie, located at 33700 Merignac.
TRAINS
There are several trains daily from Paris to Limoges (3 hours), Bordeaux (2-2.5 hours) and local trains that connect Limoges with Saint Yrieix (15 Minutes from the chateau).

OuiGo is a similar, less expensive train leaving from CDG AIRPORT (Paris) to Bordeaux St Jean (the main train station in Bordeaux), so guests flying into CDG would not have to leave the airport to catch this train. OuiGo costs 10 euros per person and train times and information are
here. Note there are usually only a few trains from Paris to Bordeaux each day so plan accordingly! Also, the OuiGo website is in French, but your browswer can translate into English.
The travel time between Paris and Bordeaux is 2 hours. Depending on which station you leave from, the first train leaving Paris is at 6:10 am, the last at 10:12 pm. There are 24 trains a day between Paris and Bordeaux, leaving every 44 minutes.
