Please note that tuxes and long dresses are not required, but would be appropriate, and please also note that the ceremony and cocktails will be held outdoors, and as is typical in France, on a combination of grass and gravel (as pictured below)! The reception will be outdoors and the temperature is subject to the weather.

CHATEAU LA DURANTIE

Chateau la Durantie is a historic chateau in the Dordogne region of France, originally built in 1830 by Thomas Robert Bugeaud, the Duke of Isly and Marshal of France and a military leader and statesman, serving under Napoleon Bonaparte, King Louis Philippe and Napoleon III. The Chateau sits on 12 acres of land, complete with a pool, tennis courts, table tennis, "five-a-side" football courts, croquet courts, and a fruit orchard.
